Updating Your Contact Information and Personal Details

Keeping your account details up to date ensures secure and uninterrupted access to London Mutual Credit Union’s services. You might need to update your information if your circumstances change or if we request new details for regulatory compliance. This article explains the process for updating important information such as your next of kin or National Insurance number.

When should I update my account information?

You should contact us to update your account when:

  • Your details, such as next of kin, mobile number or address, have changed.
  • We request up-to-date information for compliance or security reasons.
  • You have noticed an error in your existing account details.

What information can be updated?

  • Next of kin or emergency contact details
  • National Insurance number
  • Contact information (address, phone number, email)
  • Name changes due to marriage or deed poll

How to request an update

  1. Complete Update my Contact Information Form
  2. Log in to your online banking from the laptop or computer (Desktop version). The Mobile Banking App won't allow you to make changes to your contact details.
  3. Contact our Helpdesk team by phone, email, or by visiting your nearest branch. For some changes, you will be required to provide proof, like proof of the address dated within the last 2 months, or a deed poll document if you change your name or surname.
