Making a one-off deposit using a debit card

If you are looking to make a one-off payment into your account, you can do this either via Pay by Bank or by making an online card payment.

Online card payments work in much the same way as purchasing from an online store. We'll need your card details and some information so we know which credit union account to pay the money into.

1. Accessing the Payment Page

Go to our main page and tap on 'Pay Money In'

2. Getting Started

Click on 'One-off Payment' and then click on the green button 'Pay into My Account'.

3. Payment Options

On the next page, you'll need to let us know how much you'd like to pay into your account and your chosen payment method.

Tap on 'Pay by Debit Card' to continue, unless you prefer to pay using Pay by Bank. 

Next, you will be asked for your 'Membership Number' and the account you would like to pay the funds into. If you have forgotten your Membership number, click here to see how you can get a reminder.

Next, select the account you wish to pay money into. This allows us to ensure that the money paid in reaches the correct account.

If your payment is to cover a missed loan repayment or payment to clear a loan, you need to let us know by calling 0203 773 1751 (option 4) so we can allocate the payment to the right account. 

After completing all steps on this page, tap 'Save & continue'.

4. Providing Some Information About Yourself

The next page will ask you for your first name, middle name, and last name. 

5. Confirming Everything is Correct

Once you click on 'Save & continue'. Finally, the confirmation page will come up, where you need to double-check all the information and tick a consent box before you click on 'Continue to Payment'

6. Entering Your Billing Details

On the next page, you need to provide your Membership Number again, including the account you wish to transfer funds to, and the address. We're sorry about needing to repeat yourself here - this is something we are working to simplify.

7. Entering Your Card Details

On the next page, you'll be asked what card type you wish to use to pay. Select your card type, and provide all the other card details asked for. Then, when you're ready, click 'Confirm card details'. 

After 'Review your order', tap 'Pay now'. The final page will show you the confirmation of the card payment with a unique reference number for the transaction. 

The payment will reflect on your account the next working day after 3 pm.
