How your membership account works

When you join the credit union, we will open your Membership Account. This is a basic account that is designed for regular savings. You can pay into it via direct debit, one-off payment, or directly from your salary and withdraw money using our mobile app or online banking.

Getting Started

Once we set up your Membership, we will send you your welcome letter via email only, along with a booklet containing your account Terms & Conditions. If you don't have an email address, please contact us.

You will also receive a unique Membership number, which you will need in order to register for online banking or when you contact us by email, phone, or via the support portal.

Forgotten your Membership Number? Not to worry. If your mobile number is up-to-date, you can request a reminder by texting memnum to 60060. You'll receive an instant reply containing your membership number.

What the Membership Account Includes

The Membership Account isn't designed to be used as your main current account, and it does not come with a debit card or features like direct debits or its own account number or sort code.

Need a Full Banking Service?

If you are looking to use us as your main bank account, you need to open a current account with us. These accounts come with a debit card, cash machine withdrawals, and other features you would expect.
