Problems entering your National Insurance number

We work hard to make our forms as straightforward as possible, so we are sorry that you are having problems. 

Here are some things you can try:

• Enter only letters and numbers, without spaces, dashes or any other symbols
• Be careful of entering zero (0) as 'O', and vice versa
• Make sure your National Insurance number is correct, and that it is exactly as it appears on your payslip, benefit letter, or National Insurance Card
