Transferring money to someone new in online banking

You can use the steps below to transfer money between your credit union accounts or an external bank account (either your own or someone else's).

How to add a new payee in online banking

  1. Log in to your London Mutual Credit Union app and tap 'Manage Payees' in 'Quick Links'.

  2. Tap 'Add Payee' at the bottom of the screen.

  3. Now you will see an option to choose the account you want to make your payment to. You can choose another account with us or an external bank account with another bank or building society.

  4. After you have chosen the account to pay the money to, you'll need to enter:
    • Name of the person or account you are paying money to
    • The sort code and account number (make sure these are correct!)
    • A display name to make it easy for you to find this account in your online banking later
      (something like 'Ben's Account')
