As a member of London Mutual Credit Union, you have special rights that protect you and give you a say in how we operate. You're not just a customer - you're a part-owner.
Your voting rights
You have the right to vote on important decisions and choose the Board of Directors who run the credit union. Each member gets one vote regardless of how much money you have saved with us - everyone has an equal voice.
You can attend our Annual General Meeting where we discuss how we're performing and make decisions together. We'll let you know when this happens and how you can take part.
Your right to information and fair treatment
You have the right to know how your credit union is doing and to ask questions about our services and decisions. You can request to see our annual accounts and other important documents.
You have the right to be treated fairly and with respect. We must consider your individual circumstances when making decisions about loans or services, and we treat all members equally regardless of their background.
Your protection
Your savings are protected by the Financial Services Compensation Scheme up to £85,000 per person. We're also regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority to ensure we treat you fairly.
If you feel you haven't been treated fairly, you have the right to make a complaint, which we'll investigate properly.
