Our Annual General Meeting (AGM)

The Annual General Meeting (AGM) of London Mutual Credit Union Ltd is a key event in our calendar, held once a year—usually in the spring between March and April. It’s a vital opportunity for us to share updates, celebrate progress, and make important decisions that shape the future of our credit union.

Why the AGM Matters

As a member-owned organisation, our strength lies in the active participation of our members. The AGM is a core part of our democratic process, where each member has a voice and the right to vote on important matters. Every member of London Mutual Credit Union is welcome and encouraged to attend, participate, and cast their vote.

When and How You’ll Hear About It

Members are notified of the AGM at least 30 days in advance via email. Along with the notice, we share the official agenda, outlining the key items to be discussed. The agenda is also available for download from our website for convenience and transparency.

What’s on the Agenda

The AGM provides a clear view of how your credit union is performing and where we’re heading. Typical items discussed include:

  • Approval of Audited Accounts and Annual Reports
  • Appointment of Directors
  • Reports from the Treasurer, CEO, and President
  • Voting on the Payment of a Dividend

These decisions are not just formalities—they directly impact the way the credit union operates, the services we offer, and how we distribute any surplus back to members.

Your Voice Matters

Whether you're a long-standing member or newly joined, your involvement in the AGM helps ensure that we remain accountable, transparent, and responsive to our members’ needs. Attending the AGM is a simple but powerful way to contribute to the future success of London Mutual Credit Union.

We look forward to welcoming you to the next AGM.
