If you’re moving to a new job and your current loan or savings contributions are made via salary deduction, there’s no need to worry—you can continue your membership with us, even if your new employer doesn’t offer salary deduction.
To keep your loan repayments on track, we can help you switch to Direct Debit. This means your payments will still come out of your bank account automatically each month, just like they did from your salary.
However, to avoid any interruption to your loan repayments, which could negatively affect your credit file, it’s very important to let us know as soon as possible if you are changing jobs. You can call us on 0203 773 1751 (option 2) or email help@creditunion.co.uk.
If you were previously saving regularly through salary deduction, we can also set up a Direct Debit for your savings, so you can continue building your balance without interruption.
