Account transfers let you move your money between your credit union accounts without fees or complications. You can transfer between your current account, savings account, or loan account based on your needs. These transactions are fast, safe, and processed instantly during business hours.
How to transfer funds using Online Banking or Mobile App
- Log in to your online banking or open the mobile app using your secure credentials.
- Tap the three lines in the top left corner, then select ‘Payments & Transfers’ from the main menu.
- Select 'Make Payment or Transfer' and choose the option depending if you are transferring between your own internal accounts with LMCU or to an external bank account.
- Click on the arrow in 'From Accounts' and select the account you wish to transfer money from.
- Click on the arrow in 'To Account' and select the account you wish to transfer money to.
- Enter the amount you want to transfer and the payment reference.
- Review the details and confirm the transfer by tapping on 'Pay Now' option. You’ll receive on-screen confirmation when it’s complete.
Transfers in the branch
Visit any London Mutual Credit Union branch with your account details and a valid ID. Our team will assist you with immediate transfers between your accounts, ensuring you have full access to your funds when you need them.
Note: A request to transfer funds to an external account takes 5 working days to proceed.
